Since the beginning of this year, the HST control room underwent a total refurbishment place that was finalized in week 11/2016.
The infrastructure was completely modified to meet modern requirements.
Data presentation software was updated and the control room and client area received new video and data presentation monitors.
The new video system is capable of showing High Definition video streams.
The graphical presentation of wind tunnel data can be routed to every monitor in the control room by means of a 40x40 channel video matrix. Video stream recordings in High Definition are now possible on four tracks in every modern format.
Also in the separate client room, clients can monitor the wind tunnel test with either video or graphical data on the monitors.
A state-of-the-art operator desk completed the modernization.
